qStopMotion 2.4.0 Released! 64-bit Deb Available

qStopMotion, a free application for creating stop-motion animation movies, reached the 2.4.0 release after more than a year of development.

qStopMotion is a fork of stopmotion for Linux with Qt framework and redesigned user interface. Users can create stop-motions from pictures imported from a camera or from the harddrive and export the animation to different video formats such as mpeg or avi.

Changes in qStopMotion 2.4.0 include:

• Add time lapse recording mode
• Add online manual in english and german language
• Improve camera control functionality
• Use new slider controls

How to Install qStopMotion 2.4.0 in Ubuntu:

The software provides official .deb package for 64-bit Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, which is available at the link below:

Download qStopMotion (.deb)

Just grab it, and click install via Ubuntu Software or Gdeb package manager, or run command in terminal:

sudo dpkg -i ~/Downloads/qstopmotion-2.4.0-Ubuntu16.04-amd64.deb; sudo apt-get -f install
