Install Yarock in Ubuntu / Linux Mint:

Sam Rog is maintaining a PPA that contains the most recent Yarock packages for Ubuntu 14.04 trusty, Ubuntu 14.10 utopic, Ubuntu 15.04 vivid and Linux Mint 17.

Since the repository contains lots of other software and libraries that might cause your system unstable, I’d recommend to download the installer directly from PPA ftp download page.

1. You may first check out your OS type, 32-bit(i386) or 64-bit(amd64), from System Settings > Details.

2. Select download the .deb package from this link.

select download ‘yarock_x.x.x~codename~x_OStype.deb’ that matches your OS. For example, 64-bit Ubuntu 14.04 & Linux Mint 17 use yarock_1.0.1~trusty~ppa1_amd64.deb

3. Once downloaded, open the package via Software Center or Gdebi and click install.
