NixNote, an unofficial Evernote client for Linux, finally reached the 2.0 stable release. The developer announced that:
In the immortal words of Homer J. Simpson, “WOOHOO!” NixNote 2.0 is up on SourceForge.
After about 5 years I’m finally crazy enough to declare it out of beta. There are still issues (there will always be issues) but I think this is “close enough”. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this project!
NixNote 2.0 is mainly a bug-fix from the last beta. There also a few new features:
- Added the ability to export a note as a PDF.
- Added the ability to alter the default notebook.
- Added a new material theme.
- Ctrl+S will automatically save a note that has been changed.
How to Install NixNote 2.0 in Ubuntu / Linux Mint:
The official NixNote daily build PPA has made the new release for Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu 16.10, Ubuntu 17.04, Linux Mint 17 & 18, and their derivatives.
